Acceptable Use Policy
Effective Date: April 14, 2026
1. Purpose
This Acceptable Use Policy (“AUP”) sets forth the acceptable and prohibited uses of the SteepleOS platform, including all associated websites, applications, APIs, and services (collectively, the “Service”), operated by Climax Enterprises LLC (“Company,” “we,” “us,” or “our”).
This AUP applies to all users, administrators, and organizations that access or use the Service. By using SteepleOS, you agree to comply with this AUP. Violation of this AUP may result in suspension or termination of your account.
2. Permitted Uses
SteepleOS is designed exclusively for religious organizations and nonprofit ministry use. Permitted uses of the Service include, but are not limited to:
- Church administration and organizational management
- Member management and directory maintenance
- Donation and contribution processing
- Event planning and management
- Volunteer coordination and scheduling
- Internal communications among members and staff
- Ministry operations and group management
- Sermon management and content organization
- Resource and facility booking
- Attendance tracking and reporting
3. Prohibited Conduct
You may not use the Service to engage in any of the following activities. This list is not exhaustive, and we reserve the right to determine, in our sole discretion, what constitutes a violation of this AUP.
- Using the platform for any unlawful purpose or in violation of any applicable local, state, national, or international law or regulation.
- Storing or transmitting content that is defamatory, obscene, or hateful.
- Sending unsolicited bulk messages (spam) to non-members or individuals who have not consented to receive communications.
- Attempting to gain unauthorized access to other organizations’ data, accounts, or systems.
- Reverse engineering, decompiling, or disassembling any part of the platform or its underlying technology.
- Using the platform to build a competing product or service, whether directly or indirectly.
- Reselling, sublicensing, or redistributing access to the platform without prior written consent from Climax Enterprises LLC.
- Uploading malware, viruses, trojans, worms, or any other malicious or harmful code.
- Circumventing security measures, access controls, or rate limits implemented by the Service.
- Scraping, crawling, or automated data extraction from the platform.
- Impersonating another person or organization, or misrepresenting your affiliation with any person or entity.
- Using the platform for political campaign activities or partisan political purposes. Churches must maintain their nonprofit tax-exempt status, and the platform shall not be used in any manner that could jeopardize that status.
- Storing regulated data such as HIPAA-protected medical records, Social Security numbers, or full credit card numbers outside of designated secure fields provided by the Service.
- Sharing login credentials between individuals. Each user must maintain their own unique login credentials.
- Using the platform for commercial solicitation of church members or for purposes unrelated to the organization’s religious or nonprofit mission.
4. Data Responsibility
Organizations using SteepleOS are responsible for the data they collect, store, and manage through the Service. Specifically, organizations must:
- Obtain proper consent before entering member data into the platform.
- Comply with all applicable privacy laws, including but not limited to the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR), the California Consumer Privacy Act (CCPA), and other applicable state and federal privacy laws.
- Respond to data subject access requests from their members in a timely manner.
- Ensure that children’s data is handled in compliance with the Children’s Online Privacy Protection Act (COPPA) and any other applicable regulations governing minors’ data.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date records within the platform.
- Promptly notify SteepleOS of any suspected data breach by contacting abuse@steepleos.com.
5. Content Standards
All content uploaded, transmitted, or made available through the Service must meet the following standards:
- Be accurate and not misleading.
- Not infringe on any third-party intellectual property rights, including copyrights, trademarks, and patents.
- Not contain personally identifiable information of minors without verifiable parental consent.
- Comply with all applicable laws and regulations.
We reserve the right to remove any content that violates these standards without prior notice.
6. Email and Communication Standards
Communications sent through SteepleOS must comply with the following requirements:
- Comply with the CAN-SPAM Act and all other applicable email and electronic communication laws.
- Include a clear and functional unsubscribe mechanism in every bulk or marketing communication.
- Only be sent to individuals who have an existing relationship with the organization or who have otherwise consented to receive communications.
- Not contain deceptive subject lines or false header information.
7. API and Integration Use
If you use SteepleOS APIs or integrate the Service with third-party tools, you agree to the following:
- Respect all published rate limits and usage quotas.
- Do not use APIs to build, train, or improve a competing product or service.
- Secure all API keys, tokens, and credentials. You are responsible for any activity conducted using your API credentials.
- Report any discovered security vulnerabilities responsibly by contacting abuse@steepleos.com before publicly disclosing any vulnerability.
8. Resource Usage
Fair use of platform resources is required to ensure a reliable experience for all users. The following resource usage guidelines apply:
- Storage usage must remain within the limits specified by your subscription tier.
- API call volumes must remain within reasonable limits as defined by your plan.
- The platform must not be used for cryptocurrency mining, non-platform computation, or any processing unrelated to the Service’s intended functionality.
If your usage exceeds the limits of your subscription tier, we may contact you to discuss an upgrade or request that you reduce usage to within acceptable levels.
9. Enforcement
Climax Enterprises LLC reserves the right to enforce this AUP at its sole discretion. Enforcement actions may include, but are not limited to:
- Investigating suspected violations of this AUP.
- Suspending or terminating accounts that are found to be in violation of this AUP.
- Removing content that violates this AUP without prior notice.
- Reporting illegal activity to the appropriate law enforcement authorities.
No refunds will be issued for accounts that are suspended or terminated due to violations of this Acceptable Use Policy.
10. Reporting Violations
If you become aware of any conduct that violates this AUP, please report it to us immediately. You can report violations by contacting:

When reporting a violation, please include as much detail as possible, including the nature of the violation, the parties involved, and any supporting evidence. We will review all reports and take appropriate action.
11. Changes to This Policy
We may update this Acceptable Use Policy from time to time. If we make material changes, we will provide you with at least thirty (30) days’ advance notice by posting the updated AUP on our website and sending a notification to the email address associated with your account.
Your continued use of the Service after the updated AUP takes effect constitutes your acceptance of the revised policy. If you do not agree to the changes, you must stop using the Service before the updated AUP becomes effective.
By using SteepleOS, you acknowledge that you have read and understood this Acceptable Use Policy and agree to comply with its terms.
