Care & Prayer Requests

Manage prayer requests, pastoral care cases, and care team workflows.

Submitting Prayer Requests

Members can submit prayer requests through the public-facing prayer wall or privately via their profile. Each request includes:

  • A title and description
  • A category (Health, Family, Financial, Praise, Other)
  • A visibility setting: Public (visible on the prayer wall) or Private (only visible to the care team)

Urgent Flags

Mark a request as Urgent to push it to the top of the care team queue and trigger an immediate email notification to all care team members. Use this for hospital visits, emergencies, or time-sensitive needs.

Care Team Workflows

  1. Assign care team members under Care > Team Settings.
  2. When a new request comes in, it appears in the care team inbox.
  3. A team member can claim the request, add follow-up notes, and mark it as resolved when the situation is addressed.
  4. The original requester receives a notification when their request has been seen and when follow-up actions are taken.

Benevolence Tracking

For financial assistance cases, use the Care > Benevolence tab to log assistance given, track budgets, and maintain confidential records of aid distributed.
